Brethren,
I’m gonna start a new tradition here at The Setting Maul – it seems Brothers and others are taking the time to check out the website, listen to the podcast and even share their comments here. The least we could do is take the time to acknowledge when someone makes the time to become a registered user. We have a few new users who’ve registered in just the last day or two – but so as not to slight those of you who’ve been with us longer I’ve put together this list of users who we think deserve recognition for their support of our endeavor here. Enjoy!
We have some new members of The Setting Maul who have recently registered as such. I am very sorry it has taken a bit of time to recognize a few of you, please do forgive me. Or if you can’t forgive me, don’t hit me too hard on the head just now, Brothers Jubelum and Peba struck me several times to get the logo just right – or so they said.
Anyway, welcome to the following Brothers & readers/listeners (I’ve used their chosen user names here for purposes of privacy) – some of them are really rather eff’d on the privacy matter due to what I’m sure you’ll appreciate as you read this list. These are alphabetical:
baldmason (not who you think it may be) Brother baldmason I am personally glad you come around here – welcome and sorry your welcome didn’t arrive sooner).
Beehive Mason (Wild Beehive Mason – so glad to have you. I don’t know if you noticed but our other Brother from up North (your parts) has dethroned you for “Master Commentator” honors this month – WTF???)
Branden (actually, if anyone deserves an apology it is this Brother who has been with us I think since we started this grab-ass-ery. Thanks Brother Branden)
Darth Ymerej (I happen to know is NOT a Freemason but part of my family nonetheless – oh and a good friend)
daveshawdb (just registered and had some very nice things to say about the podcast and some interesting observations on Utah in general – welcome Brother and thanks for the direct email through our “contact us” link – we’re glad to have you on board)
Jedwbpm – Brother it has been a lot of fun having you and your commentary around – we really appreciate your “get involved” attitude – stick around we may try to coerce you into a telephone interview should you be agreeable.
Kevin – great to have you here – share some of your thoughts.
kimbowmanjr – jeez I wonder who you are??? and from so far away – we miss you Brother – now quit reading this shite and get back to studies…
manotyre – why Brother C. so good to have you as a member – don’t go away…
Masonic Piper – nice job on the pipes at the reunion recently and congrats! It doesn’t look like anyone is going to challenge you for the “Master Commentator” status this month – guess what it gets you if you win?
ratpack7 – you are a handy Brother to have around, glad you found us.
Trevor – you’ll get that guest spot sooner or later Brother – thanks for your patience.
VIW – How did you find us here in Utah from way back there? Nice to have visitors from other jurisdictions – share some of your words when you have a chance.
Brethren – help me welcome these readers to our “Hallowed” (or should I say hollowed) halls. We welcome you among us. To this irreverent retreat of satire. To this place of respectful irreverence in Freemasonry. Watch out for that short guy with long arms at the door – he’s not a Master Mason. (Why do ya think we hired him)?
I am happy to inform you that since our latest Podcast “11/10/2008″ was released we’ve exceeded 500 downloads of the show. We canna do it without ya! This is an amazing milestone for us when we really never expected this thing to go anywhere but to the goal of keeping us young Masons off the streets and away from the drugs. 504 downloads – Brothers, readers & listeners WOW! Thank you. Tell just one more friend!
We’re gonna try to get a Podcast recorded for December even though it is a busy time for all of us – however, those who’ve already asked the Podcast this month won’t be recorded until later – 22nd to be exact. Let’s see if we’re all sleeping on the couch after explaining to our good Ladies that we’re recording three days before Christmas.
