Brothers,
We at the Setting Maul believe wholeheartedly in the long standing Masonic tradition of shameless self promotion, but on occasion we will find something of worth amongst the flotsam of the internet that is worth mentioning. This is the reason for my post today. I came across this little website and thought that it was done in the spirit of what we hold dear at The Setting Maul.

Since a lot of brothers and friends still use Myspace, I’ve added a Setting Maul group there. It made me feel dirty and unclean, but I still did it.
You may notice on the sidebar that links have been broken out into several different categories: Links We Like, Blogroll, and Forums. Let me be the first to congratulate (and perhaps register) on The Sanctum Sanctorum. Yet another place on the Interweb to impair my productivity.
Our Facebook page now has 76 fans. That’s more than I’d hoped in my wildest expectations. Thanks to everyone who has joined, both as a registered member here, and a fan there. In the meantime, enjoy this little ditty:

Brothers/Listeners/Readers,
The Setting Maul podcast has been downloaded 1,391 times – this is a stat I wished to share with you since our last episode was published to the world of interwebbing. Let’s try to reach 1,500 downloads before the end of February eh? You know the drill, you tell two friends and they tell two friends and so on, and so on, and so on…
Sounds like a commercial for this:

Seriously, tell two friends!

I got a couple of trinkets from our online store (personal info changed to protect the not-so-innocent).
“Hi from CafePress.com!
We have shipped your package to:
Jason Allred
Some Mystic Street
Some Mystic City, UT xxxxx
UNITED STATES
This package contains:
1 x Sticker (Rectangle)
1 x Greeting Card”
Oh, and just for everyone’s information, the items do have a small markup. Hopefully one day it will make enough money to support itself and we can upgrade it to a premium account. Until that day, enjoy this fish!

Brothers,
Yes it’s true. Billy Mays, after recently appearing (in voice) in the commercial for the newest Kadosh-Ko product Masonic Lapel Extender has garnered enough fame to warrant his own television show. We, at The Setting Maul are pleased to see yet another example of anyone, nay everyone who ever becomes involved with our valued partner and sponsor, Kadosh-Ko sees more and more success by shear association (I’m certain). Billy Mays, you have risen to glory, don’t forget where you got your start. The people at Kadosh-Ko and The Setting Maul are sorry to see you go – fly our beautiful bird, fly – seek out your star. Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out you ungrateful little, sorry excuse for a…uh, er, uh-hmmm – I mean of course:
CONGRATULATIONS! We wish you well.
